Procurement Policy

TAKAMATSU PLATING Co., Ltd. promotes efforts toward responsible mineral procurement that considers human rights, the environment, and ethics in the procurement of plating raw materials.
Based on the OECD Due Diligence Guidance, confirm that tantalum, tungsten, tin, gold (conflict minerals) and cobalt minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo and its surrounding countries are not a source of funding for armed groups, we will work on procurement that is not related to human rights violations such as child labor, money laundering, and fraudulent transactions in high-risk areas (CAHRAs).
TAKAMATSU PLATING Co., Ltd. will implement the following contents in order to realize a responsible mineral procurement policy.

  1. Explain our policy to our business partners and conduct a place of origin survey using standardized templates (CMRT, CRT).
  2. If there is a suspicion of high risk, we request our business partners to switch to low-risk suppliers.
  3. Disclose the survey results at the request of our customers.
